He has eternally existed in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and are one God.<br \/><em>(Genesis 1:1, 26, 27; 3:22; Psalms 90:2; Matthew 28:19; 1 Peter 1:2; 2 Corinthians 13:14)<\/em><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"et_pb_row et_pb_row_2\"><div class=\"et_pb_column et_pb_column_4_4 et_pb_column_2  et_pb_css_mix_blend_mode_passthrough et-last-child\"><div class=\"et_pb_module et_pb_text et_pb_text_2  et_pb_text_align_left et_pb_bg_layout_light\"><div class=\"et_pb_text_inner\"><h5>JESUS CHRIST<\/h5><p>Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is co-equal with the Father. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to heaven\u2019s glory and will return again someday to earth to reign as King of kings and Lord of lords.<br \/><em>(Matthew 1:22, 23; Isaiah 9:6; John 1:1-5; 14:10-30; Hebrew 4:14, 15; 1 Corinthians 15:3, 4; Romans 1:3, 4; Acts 1:9-11; 1 Timothy 6:14, 15; Titus 2:13)<\/em><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"et_pb_row et_pb_row_3\"><div class=\"et_pb_column et_pb_column_4_4 et_pb_column_3  et_pb_css_mix_blend_mode_passthrough et-last-child\"><div class=\"et_pb_module et_pb_text et_pb_text_3  et_pb_text_align_left et_pb_bg_layout_light\"><div class=\"et_pb_text_inner\"><h5>THE HOLY SPIRIT<\/h5><p>The Holy Spirit is God, is coequal with God and has always existed. He is present in the lives of those who have been spiritually born again. He brings salvation and new life. The Holy Spirit dwells in every believer from the moment of salvation. He provides assurance, power, direction, guidance, conviction and service. The Holy Spirit imparts spiritual gifts (we believe all gifts are in operation today) to believers for the purpose of enabling them to serve one another. Christians should desire to live under the daily filling and leadership of the Holy Spirit.<br \/><em>(Genesis 1:2; Judges 14:6; 2 Corinthians 3:17; John 16:7-13; John 14:16-17, 26; Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 2:12,3:16; Ephesians 1:13; Galations 5:25; Ephesians 5:18)<\/em><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"et_pb_row et_pb_row_4\"><div class=\"et_pb_column et_pb_column_4_4 et_pb_column_4  et_pb_css_mix_blend_mode_passthrough et-last-child\"><div class=\"et_pb_module et_pb_text et_pb_text_4  et_pb_text_align_left et_pb_bg_layout_light\"><div class=\"et_pb_text_inner\"><h5>THE BIBLE<\/h5><p>The Bible is God\u2019s very words to all of humanity. It was written by humanity under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is our source for authority and beliefs. The Scripture is sufficient for all that God requires for us to believe and do and is therefore to be believed, as God\u2019s instruction, in all that it teaches; obeyed, as God\u2019s command, in all that it requires; and trusted, as God\u2019s pledge, in all that it promises. We believe the entire Word of God is truth without error.<br \/><em>(2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21; 1 Peter 1:25; Psalm 19:7-11; Psalm 119:11, 105, 160; Exodus 24:4; Matthew 5:17-18.)<\/em><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"et_pb_row et_pb_row_5\"><div class=\"et_pb_column et_pb_column_4_4 et_pb_column_5  et_pb_css_mix_blend_mode_passthrough et-last-child\"><div class=\"et_pb_module et_pb_text et_pb_text_5  et_pb_text_align_left et_pb_bg_layout_light\"><div class=\"et_pb_text_inner\"><h5>HUMANITY<\/h5><p>Men and women are created equal and in the image of God to have fellowship with Him. Humanity is the supreme and crowning work of God\u2019s creation. However, humanity has turned from God toward sin. This sinful disobedience separates us from God and causes problems with other people. The final result of sin is spiritual death and eternal separation from God.<br \/><em>(Genesis 1:26-30, 2:5; Psalm 32:1-5; Jeremiah 17:5; Matthew 16:26; Acts 17:26-31; Romans 1:19-32, 3:10-18, 23; Romans 8:14-18; 1 Corinthians 1:21-31; Ephesians 2:1-22; Colossians 1:21-22, 3:9-11)<\/em><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"et_pb_row et_pb_row_6\"><div class=\"et_pb_column et_pb_column_4_4 et_pb_column_6  et_pb_css_mix_blend_mode_passthrough et-last-child\"><div class=\"et_pb_module et_pb_text et_pb_text_6  et_pb_text_align_left et_pb_bg_layout_light\"><div class=\"et_pb_text_inner\"><h5>SIN AND SALVATION<\/h5><p>Through the temptation of Satan, humanity transgressed the command of God and fell from their original holiness and righteousness. Now the entire human race inherits a corrupt nature that is opposed to God and His law. Therefore, all humans are under condemnation. This depravity is radical and pervasive.<\/p><p>Salvation through Jesus Christ is God\u2019s free gift to us but we must be willing to believe it and receive it. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God\u2019s offer of forgiveness can we be saved from sin\u2019s penalty. If there were another way to obtain salvation, then Jesus Christ would not have come to earth to die on the cross.. Eternal life begins the moment we ask and receive Jesus Christ into our lives by faith. Because God gives us eternal life through Jesus Christ, the true believer is secure in that salvation for eternity. If you have been genuinely saved you cannot \u201close\u201d your salvation.
